This is the best commentary I've seen on any film! No overthinking, just one aspect of an intently ambiguous film that is subject to many interpretations. Beautifully narrated. Bravo to whoever you are! Thís film is special to me due to its timing. When it first came out, I was experiencing drastic changes in my life. The film emulates my sentiments at that time, having met the love of my life without realizing it then, and experiencing the extremely harsh and painful reality of work life after "waking up" from the dream that was my college years. I am nostalgic about that transformative period in my life that changed me forever. Therefore, I have watched this movie so many times and will keep doing so countless times more.

Hi, hope you are all well ! Juste wanted your input and thoughts about a quick session to help the body to forget about old triggers and configuration related to sugar... In my cas, I run 50km per week, eat healthy but as soon as I will have a cake or something with sugar, I store it as fat... So I loose weight but also gain, it is a never ending trap... Do you know how this cycle can be stopped with a short session ? as forget everything about previous diet and sugar related beliefs or triggers. Do you see what I mean ?

I let go of the hurt of my life's heartbreak. You just gotta realize they weren't fully right for you, even though there were wonderful times. Appreciate those and realize you'd be miserable if it stayed the way it did towards the end. My guy was bi, but didn't ever admit it to anyone, well, he did one time to me in saying something that was indirect but stated then that we were nearly a romantic couple. That's fine. If he wasn't strong enough to be open, despite all the nights we spent together alone making each other laugh and wrestling and horsing around in the pool, then that's on him - not on me. And that's how I'm free! I think Ennis got his freedom at the end a little bit when he broke down finding his old shirt over Jack's, in Jack's closet. He knew how much Jack loved him, and he used that opposite situation than mine (Jack was willing to be open unlike my former friend) to have continued love in his heart to keep him going. I pray he was happy the rest of his fictional days lol

Thanks for sharing some of your life with the world and for opening up a discussion of important questions. "God's heart is to bless" is a bit of a sweetener. Whilst it characterises God positively, which I think is true, it doesn't give sufficient weight to the threat of condemnation. Your questions about intuition are answered with Gerard's anchor. That is his anchor, and he feels secure with it. It's all pretty good except that God allowed the scripture to become corrupted. Gerard's anchor is not locked in place and so his ship is drifting. Christianity is a corrupted version of the true religion of God. Wise counsel and wise people is a good point, and God's guidance in scripture is the right idea, as long as the scripture is really a book of light from Him, uncorrupted, and that you read it correctly as well. Your intuition and destiny questions are met with the discussion of the heart and that it may have weeds, but the truth is the heart can be totally lost. The inkling of being wrong, the conscience, is from the soul, and must inform the heart. Yet it becomes impossible if the heart is not nurtured, fed, directed, and protected, and Gerard says more or less that God is the best one to do this, so giving one's heart to him will take care of it. True, but once again, if the concept of God is wrong or the relationship to God is incomplete, it won't suffice. This kind man Gerard's experience and knowledge of people's spiritual needs is informed in some areas, but not others. The missing parts are fatal. The concept of God must be correct or else the servant of God will serve an idol. He is good at calling people to a loving god which he believes is true and correct because it feels right and because his investigations have lead him to that. However, he doesn't spend enough time on proving that God exists and what the nature of God is. He does not give a listener the necessary space to investigate his beliefs either, and it is likely that he not did investigate them enough himself. God does not appear as a human being. The Qur'an makes this clear. There was a time that I didn't know enough to say this but now I do, and I can back up what I'm saying if you ask me. I have been Christian and now I'm Muslim. Before being Christian I was an idol worshipper, before that a Buddhist, before that an agnostic, and before that a light atheist. I bear witness that there is no god but God, that He has not begotten, and that Muhammad, Jesus, and all the prophets and messengers mentioned in the Bible and the Qur'an are truly his prophets and messengers. I do not differentiate among them. Sorry for my very direct style. It is just a way of communicating so please look past it and think about what I'm sharing here if you can. I want others to have the peace and guidance that I have, and to have a successful relationship with God like I have. I hope Gerard receives this comment and reads the Qur'an ASAP or contacts me, God willing. My email address is 1abdullahreed@gmail.com. From what I know, I believe Gerard's concept of submission to God is near correct, and may lead him to further enlightenment, but his notions of God's nature and God's chosen way of life are a little off, and that is enough to be fatal. So I hope that you take this comment as constructive criticism, not an attack. The process of getting guided, which is called ihtidaa in Arabic, is important here. Gerard said one can turn to the sky and say "If you're there, thanks for x, y, z ..." or something of that nature. I feel that that's nice and it could lead to guidance, but then again it's a bit random. There are more accurate ways to get guided. Fear spiritual degradation, fear failure. Fear that Hell.is real and you could be there one day. That is the case. It is real and you could be there one day. I fear it. I didn't believe in Hell when I was younger. Then it was proven to me and so now I do. Proof is very useful. This needs to be said and I hope it will inspire you to want to know things with certainty. Abdullah
